BENEFITS OF CACAO:
Ceremonial Cacao has not been defatted and retains its natural beneficial compounds, it is very different from hot chocolate drinks. Minimally processed or heated Cacao is rich in theobromine, minerals and anti-oxidants and was considered so nutritious that Azteks and Mayan kings drank up to 30 cups a day to maintain their vigor and virility. It was also used as currency in ancient times. Theobromine stimulates the cardiovascular system, can enhance mood, Blood flow/circulation and improve brain function. We might experience a warm uplifting 'hum'. The high quality ceremonial cacao, when used in community with intention can open our heart - gateway to our inner spirit and wisdom.
As an alternative for the Cacao drink, a fresh, hand picked garden herb tea will be provided by Angelika

PREPARATIONS:
Do not drink other stimulants like coffee at least 3 hours before the Cacao Ceremony. For maximal effect, do not eat 3 hours before Ceremony. You could bring a snack for after, though.
WHAT TO BRING:
